The Local Hub is a friendly community space where people can connect, access support, and take part in a range of activities. From coffee mornings to upcycling activities, we’re here to bring people together and help everyone feel part of the community.

Recycle Your Bits is a community-led furniture reuse and recycling shop based next door to the Warwick Ahead Hub in Knottingley. The project exists to reduce waste, support residents, and create meaningful opportunities for people to get involved in their community.
We collect donated furniture and household items, restore and upcycle them where possible, and make them available at low cost to local people. This helps families access essential items affordably while preventing usable goods from ending up in landfill.
More than just a recycling project, Recycle Your Bits is a space for learning, volunteering, and building confidence. For many, it offers a supportive environment to develop skills, improve well-being, and connect with others.
The project works closely with partners, including Vico Homes, and other local organisations to ensure items are redistributed where they are most needed.
Any profit from the shop sales is used to re-invest into the local community.
