We are looking for new volunteers who would like to join us in making a difference to our local community.

What roles are available?

We have a number of volunteering opportunities you could sign up for – all with flexible days and hours to match your availability. No previous experience necessary. They include:

Volunteer Activity Support Worker

At the Local Hub, 5 Pinewood Place.

We are looking for friendly and dependable volunteers to support activities taking place within our local hub space. This role focuses on helping sessions run smoothly, creating a welcoming environment, and providing practical support to participants and visitors.

Volunteer Receptionist

At the Local Hub, 5 Pinewood Place.​

As a Volunteer Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for visitors to the community hub. You will help create a warm, welcoming environment while supporting people who may be seeking advice, guidance, or local services.

Volunteer Shop Assistant

At Recycle Your Bits, 3 Pinewood Place.

As a Volunteer Event Assistant, you will support the community development worker to plan and deliver events. Your support ensures events run smoothly, are welcoming, and bring people together in a positive and inclusive environment.

At Recycle Your Bits, 3 Pinewood Place.

As a Volunteer Driver, you'll support a recycling charity by collecting and delivering donated items or equipment. This role helps reduce waste, promote sustainability, and support community initiatives.
